A Broad in Asia: November 2012

http://www.abroadinasia.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html

A Broad in Asia. On Sunday, November 4, 2012. In lieu of my persisting laziness today to post something more insightful, I've decided to share some of my favourite words. Yes, it has come to that already. I promise I'll finally post my trip to Sukcho, or as I like to call it 'the land before time'. Well no, not really, but we went to this park that makes you think that dinosaurs still exist. It was THAT spectacular! Ok, so favourite words. Why you ask? Favourite ice cream flavour? The formation or use of...

A Broad in Asia: January 2013

http://www.abroadinasia.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html

A Broad in Asia. What makes me laugh. On Monday, January 14, 2013. Here's a little something something from my favourite comedian Will Ferrell. It has been one heck of a year, 2012. It was probably the best year I ever had. I literally filled up all the pages of my passport from constantly traveling - so now I have to get a new one. I moved to yet ANOTHER country. I have learned, lived, and experienced so much all in the span of 365 days. For all of life's little blessings and wonderment. A Broad in Asia.

A Broad in Asia. On Saturday, February 2, 2013. Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life. Trying to make ends meet. You're a slave to money then you die. I'll take you down the only road I've ever been down. You know the one that takes you to the places. Where all the veins meet yeah'. First random musing of the year is here! A list of nonsensical songs:. Anything from Britney Spears. Blue - Eiffel 65. Song 2 - Blur. Barbie Girl - Aqua. Gangnam Style - Psy. The list is endless! This discourse that, u...

http://www.abroadinasia.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html

A Broad in Asia. The wonder of Bukchon village. On Saturday, October 27, 2012. Labels: Exploring around Seoul. Someone wise once told me memories are all you have left when you die. Hey Charlyn, live your life to the fullest! Cuz when you're old and on your death bed - you may want those memories to keep you smiling right through the end.". While I'm not sure if I appreciate the harsh (somewhat morbid) advice from this ever-so lovely person, the words stuck with me like white on rice. So here I AM! Puppi...

Jack and Jo in Chile: April 2008

http://jackandjo.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html

Jack and Jo in Chile. What we've been up to lately. We've been pretty busy since we got back from our summer trip in February. Our German friends Thomas and Kathryn, who we bumped into various times while we were traveling, came to stay with us in Vina for a few days, before heading north. We showed them around Vina and Valparaiso - here we are on one of the ascensores. A typical "asado" (roast or barbeque) at Clay and Petra's party. Here's Jo in the living room- see the balcony? For Chile it is huge!

Jack and Jo in Chile. Snowboarding in the Andes. After almost 11 months in Chile we decided it was finally time to get up to the Andean ski resorts surrounding Santiago and get a taste of the high mountain snow that they are known for. Our first day was at the area's fanciest resort, Valle Nevado, located some 3,000 meters above sea level! A group of beautiful Siberian Huskies including a very cute pup were on display at the lodge. Jack and Jo in Chile: August 2007

http://jackandjo.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html

Jack and Jo in Chile. A Day in Horcon. Then we headed to Horcon, a small coastal town best known for its hippie community and nude beaches, but also well known for its incredible empanada and seafood restaurants. We ordered a round of jaiba and queso empanadas (crab and cheese), which run about $2 each. Delicious! After the meal we headed to Playa Cau Cau to watch the sun set. We got some dreamy photos and it was a great end to the day. We will definitely be back there again soon. DJ Set at Cafe Journal.

A'Broad in Amman. 8230;A Journalist's Journey to Jordan. Day 8: A Journalist’s Journey to Jordan. Bull;June 15, 2009 • Leave a Comment. The last morning in Jordan was a hectic mess. I woke up to the sound of my alarm, skyped with my mom, and then ran out the door with my passport in hand and suitcases ready to go. The 12 and a half hour flight back to the United States was not fun, to say the least, but the good company of my trip-mates, a couple glasses of wine, and several slightly mindless movies made...
