Punk Cats Can Knit Too: May 2009
http://punkcatknitter.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 27, 2009. Yes, another post! Look at me, being a responsible blogger! And now you can literally look at me, interviewed in a video podcast from Lets Knit2Gether. I'm the first person interviewed, giggling nervously and blushing like mad. Tuesday, May 26, 2009. This was fingering-ish weight singles I spun out of a Coopworth/Llama blend I got from Wild Hare Fiber Studios. This fiber practically spun itself and the singles came out so shiny! This was the main reason I was so excited I won, be...

Punk Cats Can Knit Too: August 2007
http://punkcatknitter.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 27, 2007. Stares* So close, so close. *runs off to take pictures of stash*. Monday, August 13, 2007. I'm so fickle. I wasn't in the mood for any of my zillion WIPs the other night, so I cast on for a Dream Swatch. I flit from project to project and never end up casting on the project I think I'm going to next. Here's a close up of some of my SWS grannies. I had to crack into another colorway, but at least I had another in shades of pink, so I think it'll blend well. I love the way ...I jus...

http://punkcatknitter.blogspot.com/2009/07/day-four-less-spinning-today-than-id.html
Wednesday, July 08, 2009. Less spinning today than I'd hoped for, but I enjoyed every second and will probably spin another hour or two tonight. I'm posting before I lose my steam. :). And here's today's spinning with everything I've done so far. I'm going to keep taking progress pictures of the whole tour's spinning progress together (although I'm going to have to switch to a larger basket soon, I think! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Punk Cats Can Knit Too: June 2007
http://punkcatknitter.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 07, 2007. Sure enough, the camera was in a VERY obvious place. Want to know where it was? You'll die, I swear. It was in its cute little camera cozy, tucked in the folds of my unfinished Central Park Hoodie. I do have pictures of one FO. A version of sorts of the Buttony Sweater. Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece (double stranded) in Turquoise and Brown. Added stripes, made it short-sleeved. Not quite. I wasn't planning on looooong sleeves, but they ended up being shorter than planned. Aft...

http://punkcatknitter.blogspot.com/2009/07/tour-de-fleece-day-one-todays-progress.html
Saturday, July 04, 2009. Today's progress: Finished spinning up my June SCF/Irises (I'd only spun an ounce or so beforehand). I wanted to spin something thicker for a change, and reached my goal with worsted-ish weight and approx. 225 yards, pre-bath at least. Apparently I was doing something right today because it's super airy and squishy. :). Anyway, glad I got a lot done today, I'm sure there will be days I won't feel like doing much so I'm going to get as much done as possible while I'm motivated!

http://punkcatknitter.blogspot.com/2009/07/day-five-spinning-was-painful-today-lol_08.html
Wednesday, July 08, 2009. Spinning was painful today, lol. I'm going to have to spend more time stretching and resting instead of obsessively pedaling. Finished and plied all 4 oz of Champagne. Too tired to count yardage, but got some nice pictures before the light was all gone. (they're fuzzier than I thought they'd be. I must have moved or something.). Aaaaaand all my tour skeins together hanging out:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Knitting up a Storm.

http://punkcatknitter.blogspot.com/2009/07/day-seven-end-of-week-one-today-looks.html
Friday, July 10, 2009. Day Seven, End of Week One! Today looks almost exactly like yesterdays, just better coils and better pictures. :). A little skein of leftovers from the batt plied with leftover SCF singles from day one:. At the end of week one I calculated I've spun about 24 ounces of fiber (mostly worsted or chunky yarns of course). How much has everyone else spun? Punk Cats Can Knit Too: March 2007
http://punkcatknitter.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 29, 2007. Screams* I still can't find my camera! Grr and I actually have pretty stuffs to show! I'm almost done my Wicked (woot! I'd still be knitting but I've been at it all day and my hands were starting to shake. Sheesh, at 22 I'm becoming such an old woman, lol. I'm actually going to the doctor next week to see if I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have a cousin only a couple years older than me who has it, so there's a distinct possibility. Punk Cats Can Knit Too: September 2006
http://punkcatknitter.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 17, 2006. A lot has happened since i last wrote in here. I no longer buy acrylic yarns (or at least I buy less, lol! And I've progressed to more complicated knits. Now I just need to actually take pictures of them. This is the only image I could find of the colorway I bought (Lime Blue). I swear it is soooo much prettier than this. It was the colorway I lusted after last time I was at this shop, but didn't have enough money to buy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Punk Cats Can Knit Too: April 2009
http://punkcatknitter.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 06, 2009. Lots of pictures today! Partially because someone on ravelry taught me how to use the Macro setting on my camera, and partially because I can! Yesterday I finished spinning singles for the Spunky Club SAL/KAL out of some beautiful Shetland I got from Spunky Eclectic. As soon as the singles were dry I cast on for my very first lace weight shawl:. I'm really loving the challenge. I've only knit a little bit using yarn this thin, and this is my own yarn! That does not do justice to t...
