Ponk – The art of finding and identifying species, associated mostly with inverts but will cover all groups of taxa.”Off to the woods for a ponk” or “Going out ponking”from the original term – Piddly Ponk. Odd words and joking aside, recording is at the core what ever the species, common or rare. In my eyes, the more records the better what ever it is. Sunday, 16 August 2015. Silent, Their Men Stand By. My husband, Geoffrey, and I were staying in Marrakech, Morocco, on holiday a few summers ago.
