Saturday, June 14, 2008. And this is the end. I'm leaving England for the States. I can't really describe all the emotions going through my head right now, but just wanted to leave a quick note that I'm taking off and will be back in the USA tonight. Wow. That sounds just so strange. . Okay, well, I'll send an update soon when I'm safely landed. A week in this life with Norwegian weather. Sun only a little snow left. Sun melting the last snow off the mountain. A hike up a mountain by Svinvik (Pig Bay). The path buses took 40 years ago. Ingenious farmer who built a bridge to the top of his barn. The new road is the thin line to the bottom left. A marker to show buses and other travelers they had reached a new county. Hvitveis- the first flowers of spring. Winter on the left, spring on the right. We heard this waterfall from across the fjord.
