A SAMple of London: ¡Hasta luego!
http://acrossthepond-sam.blogspot.com/2008/05/hasta-luego.html
Tuesday, 6 May 2008. I’ve got another week of Spain to catch up on, so I’ll get started. A cool pic of a street in Pamplona. We spent some more time in Parque Taconera, where all the wild things are. And by wild things I mean some birds and some pretty calm deer and goats. The animal-lover in me was very happy. A peacock trying to impress the ladies. This picture is dedicated to my mother, Carol Schaefer, friend of the goats. The view from my balcony. People out on Playa San Juan. We made it up to Jesus!
A SAMple of London: January 2008
http://acrossthepond-sam.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, 31 January 2008. Of course, we will be staying up late to watch the Superbowl on Sunday, which I believe will be at 11:30 pm here. Oh well. I will still get a couple of hours in before work. As an American, it is my obligation to watch this game, and luckily Imperial College will leave their pubs open to cater to its American exchange students. Hooray! All right, I'm out for the night. I need to get some stuff ready for Pete's arrival tomorrow. I'll try to keep you posted throughout the...Sorry...
A SAMple of London: I-rish I could afford drinks in Dublin
http://acrossthepond-sam.blogspot.com/2008/04/i-rish-i-could-afford-drinks-in-dublin.html
Tuesday, 8 April 2008. I-rish I could afford drinks in Dublin. First of all, I apologize for the ridiculously cheesy and terrible title. That being said, I returned from my Dublin weekend with Pete a couple of nights ago, but have been busy per usual with class stuff and a lot of other things I’ve put off for far too long, like e-mailing my wonderful relatives who’ve been so great about keeping in touch while I’m over here. Me and a cask turned bench. The beach at Bray looking toward Bray's Head. Despite...
A SAMple of London: I am the walrus
http://acrossthepond-sam.blogspot.com/2008/04/i-am-walrus.html
Wednesday, 16 April 2008. I am the walrus. I apologize for not writing in the last week. As things are winding down in terms of school and work, time speeds up. Funny how that happens. Blogging is obviously not the top of my priorities as I’m scrambling around the city, making sure I see everything and enjoy my “last of London” experiences. Looking down on Cannes from a hill. There's the bridge as the infamous storm approaches. The cast of the movie. Daniel Craig is the blur on the far right.

Follow Pam's exploits in London and elsewhere in Europe. Available only from January until April while supplies last! Thursday, April 24, 2008. Hey, let's cross the sea and get some culture. Not many blog posts left.I really can't believe how quickly the last month and a half have gone. So let's get to it. This past weekend was so chill and so much fun! We stuck mostly to the local scene, staying away from the touristy areas. Everyone in the club was on their feet and dancing. So fun. Unfortunate...Sadly...

Follow Pam's exploits in London and elsewhere in Europe. Available only from January until April while supplies last! Friday, February 29, 2008. Follow Pam's exploits in London and elsewhere in Europe. Available only from January until April while supplies last! Sunday, April 20, 2008. The types of people you meet on the Tube. In my Tube travels across London, there are certain types of people that you come across again and again on the Tube. West London, East London, North London - they're always there. So I just thought I would amuse you all with "Pam's List of People You See on the London Underground.". Between the ages of 20 and 35. Really sh...

A week in this life with Norwegian weather. Sun only a little snow left. Sun melting the last snow off the mountain. A hike up a mountain by Svinvik (Pig Bay). The path buses took 40 years ago. Ingenious farmer who built a bridge to the top of his barn. The new road is the thin line to the bottom left. A marker to show buses and other travelers they had reached a new county. Hvitveis- the first flowers of spring. Winter on the left, spring on the right. We heard this waterfall from across the fjord.
