Action Wildlife - Petting Zoo

Action Wildlife invites all guests to stop at our petting zoo located across from the green museum building. Feed is available for $1.00 per cup and is provided at the entrance of the petting barn. Bottles are available for $3 to feed to the babies. Please note that the animals in the petting barn are the ONLY animals guests are allowed to pet and feed. There are red signs placed throughout the facility as reminders. Petting Zoo closes at 4 pm.

Adults 12 = $10, Children 5-11 = $8, 4 and under FREE. Planning on making a few trips to Action Wildlife this season? Purchase a Family Season Pass for $250. Action Wildlife is wheelchair accessible but please note that our roads are dirt and gravel. For the safety of our animals, motorcycles are not permitted on the roads through the park. Pets are NOT permitted inside Action Wildlife property. For the safety of our animals, AND YOURS, please leave your pet at home.

Located on Route 4 in Goshen, CT - (Halfway Between Torrington and Goshen). From Route 8 Heading North. Take Exit 44 - Torrington. Go straight through the light at the bottom of the ramp. Take a Left at the next light onto Route 4 West. Follow Route 4 approximately 4 miles, Action Wildlife will be on your right hand side. Look for the NEW entrance, the black gate at the stone wall Action Wildlife sign. From Route 8 Heading South. From the West (upstate NY).

Hours of Operation - Weather Permitting. Wednesday - Friday April 13th-15th and April 20th 10:30am - 3:00pm. Saturday and Sunday April 16th-17th and April 23rd-24th 10:30am-4:30pm. Effective April 29th Spring hours: (Friday 10:30am-3:00pm) (Saturday-Sunday 10:30am - 4:30pm). Summer - Beginning June 8th - Wednesday thru Sunday 10:30am-4:30pm. CLOSED MONDAY'S AND TUESDAY'S but OPEN on Memorial Day 10:30am-4:30pm, Columbus Day and Labor Day (hours go by season). November - Closed for the season.
