Wednesday, 30 July 2014. We had a radiant day of weather to enjoy our Radiant Roman day. In the morning the librarian read us some more interesting facts. Six Activ8ers failed to pass the librarians new tighter security measurers around his ancient books and ended up with gunge on their heads. Tuesday, 29 July 2014. Yesterday was the first full day of Activ8, and it was a good one. We played a couple of new games - guessing which leader had carelessly left their personal possessions in the archaeologists' sand in one game, and helping to retrieve some ancient books from the other side of a web of string in the other. Tuesday, 28 July 2015. Oh I do like to be beside the seaside! Today was a very exciting day! After the morning meeting and small group time, we all jumped on a coach and sped down to sunny Little Hampton. The weather was not great when we got there, it was cloudy and extremely windy! Lots of sand castles were built, and a lot of children got very wet when paddling! Everyone had an ice cream, and the sun came out after about an hour, taking the chill of the wind.
