Thursday, May 14, 2015. Ice Cream, t-shirts and shorts. It was the first week of May and it was finally warm enough (in my book, I am sure lots of other people have done this for weeks) to put all my kids in shorts and t-shirts in the morning for the day! The kids have been rocking swim lessons so after Laney's lesson at 5pm, I drove them thru McDonalds for ice cream cones. Warm weather and happy kids at swim lessons = ice cream for everyone! They were so excited and surprised :). Can't wait for summer!

Saturday, August 30, 2014. Wash, MO Visitors. After the Fair weekend - Mamaw, the McCormacks and Zicks came for a final staycation before school was back in session. Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Adam had a work meeting at Big Cedar Lodge over a weekend so the kids and I tagged along. My thought was…we can hang out at home without Adam or we can hang out in a cabin and get to see Adam! Sunday, May 31, 2015. We headed out early one morning to Gieringers Orchard. To go strawberry picking with the Souders and Stilleys. We have picked blueberries and blackberries before but never strawberries. It was a beautiful morning, a little chilly, but the sun was shining! Cooper was a great picker and was chatting the whole time, Laney was iffy about it and Piper was happy to eat all the strawberries after I let her out of the stroller. Pretty much sums up her attitude about strawberry picking.

Saturday, we did some work outside and went to the Uffmann's for a little party. Monday, September 22, 2014. Brody's First Day at Daycare. Brody's first day at Alice's (not counting the one day he went while I was in Nashville) was on 9/8/14. Dropping off child #2 is A LOT easier than dropping off the first. Yes, I was sad and still am sad that maternity leave is over, BUT it is nice to know that he will be in good hands. Monday, September 29, 2014. Football season is upon us and in the Francis household that means black and gold wearing Saturdays, fight song singing car rides, tailgates and cheering on our Tigers! Friday, June 12, 2015. Mardi Gras at Church. Our church has a Mardi Gras carnival/party/fund raiser each year and the kids really enjoy it. Dad helped Nathan prepare to shoot the Nerf gun for one game. Maggie and Hadley joined us at church and Hadley's favorite part was the cake! Tyler was pretty good at the toilet paper toss. If only my boys were as accurate when toilet paper is not required in the bathroom all the time! Hadley wasn't too big on the games but she did get a "tattoo.". The kids had a blast.

Saturday, March 21, 2015. Total randomness from December 2014. Tyler had his bi-annual dentist check-up in December. He loves wearing the sunglasses they give him for the bright light. Cavity free and looking cool! He loves that he gets a trophy, his picture taken and a prize every time he is cavity free from the dentist. Nathan even asked to go to the dentist so he can get a trophy. I am taking him soon so we will see how excited he is then. A random December UPS delivery day. Smile - we love Amazon!
