My Food and Gardens: Trapping Garden Creatures
http://myfoodandgardens.blogspot.com/2013/08/trapping-garden-creatures.html
My Food and Gardens. From family gardening to cooking. Tuesday, August 20, 2013. The little guy found a trap, set it up with a little peanut butter one night. It worked. He caught a shy little guy. He was relocated miles away to a very secluded wooded area where we have pictures of them thriving and growing to massive sizes. Here is a video of one of the released and angry animals. My Food and Gardens: Game Camera: Natural Trophy
http://myfoodandgardens.blogspot.com/2013/09/game-camera-natural-trophy.html
My Food and Gardens. From family gardening to cooking. Thursday, September 5, 2013. Game Camera: Natural Trophy. After a long wait for the little monster, we finally saw a few pictures of our raccoon we released to a safer place. He seems to have found a new family as there were many different pictures. We also caught a few rabbits, hogs, coyotes and of course deer of all sizes on the camera. The little monster was happy to see his relocated friend happy and still a little cranky. My Food and Gardens. From family gardening to cooking. Friday, August 23, 2013. He likes school, his teacher (finally) and all of his friends. His problem is being told to wake up. He is a cranky little monster in the mornings that will have a few toys taken away if he does not correct his attitude. Tuesday, August 20, 2013. My Food and Gardens: July 2013
http://myfoodandgardens.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
My Food and Gardens. From family gardening to cooking. Monday, July 15, 2013. Friday, July 12, 2013. Here are a few fireworks we set off for the fourth. The little monster loved them. We threw in a few sparklers at the end. He had so much fun he talked his uncle into doing it again a few nights later. This did not require much talking since my brother had already planned on the activity on a night he was off. Thursday, July 11, 2013. Dahlia - Garden Wonder. Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Laura Vanderbeek: February 2014
http://lauravanderbeek.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 27, 2014. I cleaned up my square foot gardens in February. I cleaned out the weeds and I raked the tops of each of my square foot gardens. I also cleaned out the remaining carrots (half eaten by voles) from the west square foot garden. I couldn't turn the soil yet, still frozen about half way down. Probably a good thing. I'm thinking of creating a wire mesh cage of some sort to keep the voles out. Any ideas? Beeks by the Lake. Labels: Little Finger Carrots. Wednesday, February 26, 2014.

Laura Vanderbeek: Getting organized for Spring Gardening
http://lauravanderbeek.blogspot.com/2014/03/getting-organized-for-spring-gardening.html
Saturday, March 08, 2014. Getting organized for Spring Gardening. Back to why I was in the basement working on my indoor garden. My whole goal was to get the laundry room clean and organized before I start pouring my efforts into the yard. Some items needed to go back where they belonged. It's been raining and so it is easier to stay and work indoors. Wonderful new or refined activities fill my life just like the organized items that went back into the drawers in my laundry room. My Food and Gardens: Crepe Myrtes
http://myfoodandgardens.blogspot.com/2013/09/crepe-myrtes.html
My Food and Gardens. From family gardening to cooking. Tuesday, September 17, 2013. September 19, 2013 at 4:55 PM. Hi Erin, that is truly one of the brightest crepe myrtles that I have ever seen. How nice that you cut off the flowers for your grandmother together with your kid. I dont have that tree in my garden, but we have many growing in the neighborhood. I dont recall seen everyone trimming the old blooms off and wonder if that will increase flowering? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

My Food and Gardens. From family gardening to cooking. Friday, May 31, 2013. Things to do with your son during summer II. Disclaimer: This post does not have pictures to give you an example since I was too busy having fun with my son to grab a camera. Alright, back to the list. We will continue with something I thought of one rainy summer night after ants infiltrated our home and tried to take over. Then do not make one. Just grab the mattress. Anything out of the norm is fun for kids. They are a lot che...
