English 426 Blog: August 2010
http://erika-english426blog.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 31, 2010. And To Kill a Mockingbird. I enjoyed most of the literature I read in my junior high and high school English classes. I would consider myself a motivated reader because I enjoy it. I hope to inspire my students the same way I was inspired, by showing them it can be enjoyable. Reading not only has an immediate educational advantage, it also increases vocabulary and promotes critical thinking. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). IT'S NOT WHAT YOU SAY, BUT HOW YOU SAY IT! TAL Reflections: Digital Mentor
http://tstaylor25.blogspot.com/2010/10/digital-mentor.html
Friday, October 22, 2010. Bauerlein is ignorant and lazy. How dare he pin the blame on his students! Where is HIS responsibility to move with the times and teach his students. The technology that will never ever go away no matter how much he whines about it? Should break the barriers of technology. We. Should be the first to know. We. Winston learns a valuable lesson about thoughts. They won't go away. No matter how much propaganda one listens to about newspeak and the thought police, a person's ...I tot...

English 426 Blog: Hmmmm....
http://erika-english426blog.blogspot.com/2010/10/hmmmm.html
Wednesday, October 13, 2010. When I was assigned Anne Frank Diary of a Young Girl. Years ago in one of my English classes, I did not read it. I liked almost every book I was assigned in high school, so I read all of the books I was assigned. except this one. I do not think it was the diary form I disliked, because I am currently reading Dracula. Is a much more powerful book. I feel like Anne Frank. Almost everyone loved it, right? I also know some other people who feel the same way about Anne Frank.

School, Work and Pokemon! I rarely have time for work and Pokemon right now, so this blog will compile all of my Adolescent Literature blogs! Thursday, December 2, 2010. I Watch Them Leave. Last week, my friend Ingrid and her family were taken away. I don't know where they went, but I was devastated. Three weeks ago, my cousin and her family were taken away. I am stuck, watching my friends and family being taken week by week- waiting for my turn. Posted by Samantha McMullen. View my complete profile.

Thursday, October 7, 2010. That Diary Gets Me Every Time. Gets better every time I read it. I always realize stuff in it that I never took notice to before. Here is a young girl, taken out of her comfort zone and put in a treacherous scenario. Can you imagine what was going through her mind when she found out she had to leave her home and friends and live in an annex for their safety? October 10, 2010 at 5:27 PM. Monday, November 29, 2010. That's a Home Run for the Record Books. My life is a continuous countdown. It helps me cope. 345 days to go. December 1, 2010 at 1:22 PM. I absolutely love the Twilight reference :). December 2, 2010 at 2:40 PM. This was super cute Tiffany. I felt like I was speaking: so anti-romance, but still having a heart. I liked that you let us know how they met, where they are now, and her pleading for the future. I liked it! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Battle Royal. For Real?

http://atepsich.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 15, 2010. I literally have been contemplating just the TITLE of this blog since Dr. Shannon sent out the e-mail about the optional blog we could write for the end of the semester. As you can see, my title is still pending because I really cannot come up with one particular title that sums up our entire semester with one another. And it became (and still is) my favorite class I have ever had, EVER in my life (even over my sculpting classes in 3rd grade! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

English 426 Blog: Artificial lesions, anyone?
http://erika-english426blog.blogspot.com/2010/10/artificial-lesions-anyone.html
Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Artificial lesions, anyone? Wow, there is so much I want to say about this book. Feed. Was so interesting and really made me think a lot about the issues we are faced with in the book. They are similar to the issues we are faced with in real life, only on a much more extreme level. Would humans ever let earth get that bad? I mean oxygen from a factory is probably so much better! Sarcasm). Their lives seem really shallow. But hey, I mean living in a bubble covered in c...They ...
