Adopting Sky | Our adoption journey
Favourite links for little ones. Games and Activity Ideas. Therific Naturals – Kiddy Calm. If it makes you happy, why the hell are you so sad? August 12, 2015. I’ve been asking myself this a lot the last while. My biggest wish ever was being pregnant and feeling a baby inside me. My BIGGEST dream has come true and I’m miserable… If is because it’s not as ‘magical’ as what I wished for? July 29, 2015. The other part of this decision is – am I then going to bond differently with my two children? I don̵...
Adopting Social- Market What Matters
Adopting Social: More than Marketing, Strategies, Promotions, & Sales. Why Is Adopting Social Different Than Other Internet Marketing and Promotion Companies? Why Adopting Social is Not all About Sales Marketing and Strategies. I am not a marketer. I am not a public relations expert. I am not an advertiser. I am not a promoter in the traditional sense. Philosophical Differences; the Internet as a Tool for Connections, not Marketing Sales. The way I have seen it:. I understand the community because I come...

Adopting Sofia
I realize it's been a while since I've posted ANYTHING! Maybe about a month. Well, Sofia has been home nearly two months. She is amazing in every way and we just can't get enough of her. All the kids have been adjusting very well and we are all exhausted! But that's good, right? I remember having trouble getting to sleep at night. Well, not anymore all I have to do is touch a pillow! Here are a few pics of Sofia from recent days! Thursday, October 22, 2009. One Month is how long Sofia has been home!
Adopting Sophia
Wednesday, December 25, 2013. From our little waiting family to yo, a blessed birth of Christ day! Wednesday, October 23, 2013. For the past two months the waiting list number has not moved. The first month I was an icky puddle of emotional mush on the floor. Then after the Master chiseled my heart a little I have come to a place of peace. Waiting on His timing. Celebrating the life I have now. Pulling my family and friends closer to me as I lean on them for support. So what have I been up to? That anger...

Click here to see specific prayer needs. Or to learn more about the role faith plays in our family. We’ve written this site to let you see behind the curtain of what is normally a very private matter. Click here to learn more about Sophie, adoption in general, and the latest in our adoption. The Life I Never Imagined
The Life I Never Imagined. There is no fear in love" 1 John 4:18. Sunday, March 19, 2017. I've struggled with guilt for much of my life. The things I didn't say but should have and the things I did say but shouldn't have - thinking and rethinking and trying to do things better moving forward. I've come to realize that having children has only amplified. If I could just keep myself together and not need personal space, I could give so much more. As I type that, I realize it sounds ridiculous. Of c...And h...

Raising GB and Hope. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. April 27, 2015. I have been abused for over 2 1/2 years, almost three years. And I allowed it. I refuse to be controlled. peapod full of sweet peas
Thursday, October 6, 2011. Has it really been over a month? How in the world did this last month just fly by? Time is just going faster and faster. Once school started, we have been in the whirlwind of life. Every night is busy with some kind of practice or small group or activity and each week just disappears before I can get a blog post written and posted. The girls are also both attending school 2 days a week. It was a little change from our original plan but Tristen decided she too wanted to give...

A journey through international adoption. A journey through international adoption. What’s in a referral? Dearest friends and family, It has been a few months since we have updated you all, because of that I’ll give you a quick recap.
