There are 5 different types of adoption including international, domestic, open, closed, and foster. There are 10 adoption agencies in Nebraska. Two in Lincoln and eight in Omaha. 95% of parents say that they have a very strong connection with their adopted child. The qualifications for being a full time foster parent:. You have to have a certified foster home. A car and current drivers license. An interest in the ability to work hard and reach youth on a full time basis. Participate in training sessions.

Monday, March 31, 2014. My Single Great Memory. Long way to travel for a football game. This is no ordinary day though. IT IS A HUSKER GAME DAY! Getting to see my birthmother. Whom I hadn’t seen for many years. Anticipation pouring into me. All I could see for three hours was corn. Miles and miles of corn. Then suddenly a metropolis. Nebraska is the only place where the weather can change in five seconds. And the second largest city is completely surrounded by vast seas of corn. A city within a city.
