Becoming More Earth Conscious One Day at a Time. So I made my own cereal bars this weekend and they turned out awesome so I thought I'd share the recipe. They are just 2 weight watchers points (for those that are counting) the way the recipe is written but I could think of some yummy things I'd add if I didnt care so much about the points (i.e. chocolate chips, different dried fruits, coconut, etc). 1 c Rolled Oats. 3 1/2 c Kashi Go Lean Cereal. 1/2 c cream of wheat. 1/2 c oat bran. 1 tsp baking soda.

Saturday, January 31, 2009. I know its been a while since my last post but I have a good excuse! We recently found out we are expecting a baby in August! So most of my time has been spent napping when I'm not at work. Gah, I love my bed. I promise as soon as I can stand to look at raw meat again, I'll be back with some new recipes. In the meantime, I have a few from the holidays that I haven't blogged about, so stayed tuned. I was also given a blog award by both uncanny from Adventures in my Freezer.

Don't many people splurge and treat themselves to pizza on the weekends? I am not one to be a conformist so I made our "pizza" dinner. Yes, that happens to be in quotes for a reason. It isn't really fair to say we ate pizza for dinner. We ate a variation of pizza. In soup form. And wouldn't you know it? I loved that my house smelled like pizza all day. My husband even commen...

At any rate, this recipe is called Cajun Chicken Pasta. I found it from the Pioneer Woman's website. I don't even remember what I was looking for on her site, but I stumbled across this. I never say "no" to a good pasta dinner, so I made this. I have never made a recipe from the Pioneer Woman before, but I plan on making more!

CLICK HERE FOR THOUSANDS OF FREE BLOGGER TEMPLATES. A blog for the the experienced, but not expert cook! Sunday, July 5, 2009. I hope you aren't disappointed, but this post is not about a dessert pie. Nope, this is a dinner pie. It's called a pie because essentially you are forming a crust in a pie plate using.wait for it.spaghetti. Or in my case, angel hair. I had all the ingredients on hand for this dish except for the ricotta. I would be willing to bet that you will also have many of these ingredi...
