Saturday, April 02, 2011. Here we are this morning at the San Antonio Highland Games! Although there are plenty of varied activities, including Scottish clan information, Celtic music and piping, Scottish heavy athletics such as hammer throw and caber toss, and Scottish dog competitions and parade, we are spending most of our time watching the Scottish and Irish dancing and the Viking historical reenactments. Here are a few highlights from the Scottish Society Highland Dancers. Nick and Maddy Winward.

Sunday, March 13, 2011. We were out for a walk and bike ride today on our neighborhood nature trail when Joseph spotted this prickly-pear pad with its very own eye and mouth. It's fun to have kids old enough to get excited about silly stuff like that! Its so much fun to go out with kids on a walk. They are so observant and point out things we adults would never notice. I sure can see the mouth and eye. I see a nose, too! Joseph never misses a thing! His mind is a whirlwind!

Friday, April 01, 2011. Although they may look like Joseph and Rosalie, these two individuals are really Moseph and Fosalie, on a road trip to visit their grandparents in AZ! They make frequent stops to go potty and eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but their car must be extremely efficient, as I haven't yet seen them stop for gas. The yellow step stool is Rosalie's wand case, and I see they have a nice stack of books ready for entertainment along the way. I hope they have a fun trip!

So I put Jett in a large t shirt as jammies one night and here's what he looked like in the morning! Somehow he got one of his arms out, it was really cute. The day before this we went to pick him up from a nap and he had taken his diaper off and thrown in out of his crib! Silly, silly boy. Allred Adventures

Bryan and I have been married for 3 1/2 years. We have a sweet baby girl named Ari. And we cannot forget our furry family members Miya and Memphis.
