I’m Back…Again →. I’m Not Vegan, But My Pizza Is. November 2, 2011. I tend to take an everything but the kitchen sink principal to what is put on my pizza so I gazed into my mostly empty fridge (it is a between paychecks just paid bills week) and luckily I had mushrooms, a half a pepper and some asparagus. I’m Not Vegan, But My Pizza Is. I’m Back…Again. January 3, 2012. Now, after some physical therapy and the realization that I was sinking into self-pity, I decided I needed to kick my butt into gear and start being a human again. I started with Thanksgiving, and that took a lot out of me, and slowly built up to Christmas and New Years. New Year’s Eve. I’m Back…Again. January 3, 2012. Now, after some physical therapy and the realization that I was sinking into self-pity, I decided I needed to kick my butt into gear and start being a human again. I started with Thanksgiving, and that took a lot out of me, and slowly built up to Christmas and New Years. New Year’s Eve. Baked Sweet Potato Fries. I’m Not Vegan, But My Pizza Is →. October 12, 2011. The weather this weekend started a small, nagging thought in the back of my head…more of a need. It was just one word, “Stew! 8221; Usually my mother makes stew every year but, as she is a couple thousand miles away (4,000 ), it fell upon me to make the stew this year. My Mama’s (Linda’s) Beef Stew. 1 1/2 lbs stew meat. 1 med onion (chopped). 6 to 8 cloves of garlic (chopped). Carrots (as many as you want). Frozen corn and peas.

Usually at this time of year it is brussel sprouts (I love those crunchy little green jewels of awesomeness), but after tasting the wonderful delicate flavor of my very first fennel bulb I may just have to give up brussel sprouts (they are going out of season anyhow). Thursday, February 25, 2010. Crazy Bean Burritos =). Tonight I made homemade burritos! Here's what you'll need:. Handful of frech garlic cloves. 1-2 lbs ground turkey. 1 can of kidney beans. Extra virgin olive oil for the skillet. 10 soft flour tortillas (I bought mine from Aldi's-only .99! I couldn't help but sample it as I was putting it together ;) It makes 10 good size burritos.
