Foodies Unite!: Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

http://afoodieconquest.blogspot.com/2010/02/buffalo-chicken-sandwiches.html

Friday, February 5, 2010. Thanks to hubby, we now have a new twist on an otherwise ordinary hot chicken sandwich. This, I have to say, is quite a yummy combination! Here's how I do it:. Spray two slices of wheat bread with canola cooking spray. Place bread on cast iron skillet to grill. On one of the slices of bread top with a slice of pepperjack cheese. Place your fave kind of pre-cooked chicken (shredded, grilled, or breaded patty) -I used breaded this time- on top of the cheese slice.

A Foodie at Home. Food, Drink, Kitchen geekery, all in the comfort of home. Yes I know the title is basically an oxymoron, especially here in Arizona where one does not typically bake in the summer because…ya know…7th level of hell temperatures. However, summer is the time when all the best fruits are ripe! Here are the recipes for the two I made. This time I used a cheese danish filling in each but typically I make them w/o this. 3 thin sliced ripe peaches. 1 flaky pie crust. 1/2 of cream cheese filling.
