A Foodie at Home. Food, Drink, Kitchen geekery, all in the comfort of home. Yes I know the title is basically an oxymoron, especially here in Arizona where one does not typically bake in the summer because…ya know…7th level of hell temperatures. However, summer is the time when all the best fruits are ripe! Here are the recipes for the two I made. This time I used a cheese danish filling in each but typically I make them w/o this. 3 thin sliced ripe peaches. 1 flaky pie crust. 1/2 of cream cheese filling.

Thursday, February 25, 2010. Crazy Bean Burritos =). Tonight I made homemade burritos! Here's what you'll need:. Handful of frech garlic cloves. 1-2 lbs ground turkey. 1 can of kidney beans. Extra virgin olive oil for the skillet. 10 soft flour tortillas (I bought mine from Aldi's-only .99! I couldn't help but sample it as I was putting it together ;) It makes 10 good size burritos.
