The first branding of the year. Trig was so excited to brand. He was even more excited when he spotted a hole in the trap where babies where getting out and went to the rescue without being told, he did great. Josie got in the action a little while quincy sat in the truck and ate Doritos. Even cowboys have a melt down once in a while. He was sad Josie got to brand a cow before him. Dean finally got his saddle, he has been waiting for it wall summer. Jason Dalton made it and Dean is really happy with it but thinks the horn is too big. Lately every time Dean leaves the house Quincy screams to go with him so he takes her outside to play for a couple minutes and them leaves her either on the tramp or in the swing; so after a while I just go gather her up and bring her back in the house. Josie is loving tumbling and getting better each week, I really think it is strengthening her muscels.

Dean sent me this picture of Trig driving the truck while he fed hay off the back. Trig was so excited and I got after Dean for letting him drive but he didn't care. Josie and Trig playing up and down the new fence line as Dean pounds posts with the skid steer. Lawrence passed down these little coveralls to Trig. We had a tornado warning here is the mountains, I'm not lying a real tornado warning. There was no actual tornado but there was a heck of a windstorm and it ruined the big trees behind my house. Leaving us with lots of stick and branches everywhere, these two were mesmerized by the flames. I ran down stairs because Josie started screaming bloody murder but it was just because "the baby was getting all her stuff". Isn't this the best, her chubby little ankles and those tippy toes. I finally bought a Kirby!

This little guy woke up before the sun to ship cows with his dad. I tried to talk him out of it and there was no question he was going, work had to get done and he was going to be there. If you've never been, it is definitely something to experience. The fire department puts it on each year to raise money.
