Moving Towards Frequent Delivery. Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Moving Towards Frequent Delivery. As we all know Agile/SCRUM often needs to be tailored to the team it's being applied. More often then not. However, it is important to understand that tailoring Agile to "the team" means tailoring it to the situation. I propose to evaluate your situation through the following 4 dimensions:. Product type (Consumer/Enterprise/Specific vertical). Deployment Model (SaaS/On Premise). It's time for course correction | Leading Agile Transformation

http://agiletransformation.blogspot.com/2011/11/its-time-for-course-correction.html

Its time for course correction. Monday, November 28, 2011. It's time for course correction. After a year of doing Agile development with 6 teams and getting 2 releases out, it's time to reflect on how we are doing and identify areas for improvements across the organization. As with any organizational change the key is to move forward, because only when you move you can make course corrections. Overall the session was very productive. Main contributor to the session success was openness with which peo...

December 2010 | Leading Agile Transformation

http://agiletransformation.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html

Can we scale it? Monday, December 13, 2010. Can we scale it? Any company with enough focus and dedication can sustain a single pilot team. Ok, may be not any, but definitely many. When time comes to scale beyond the single pilot team various organizational impediments become evident and the real test for organization’s ability to go through with necessary changes begins. A)Has to be done by UX Designer. B)Can be delegated to another team member under close supervision. D)Can be delegated to a PO. After a...

Task Force (or Back to School). Friday, October 9, 2009. For task force to be successful it has to have a clear goal. The goal is to assess feasibility of the change. This means the group will need to answer following questions:. Can agile address our problems? Remember, we are not doing the change for the sake of the change. Are the benefits tangible? You should be able to look back and show that specific problems got addressed and you better off than you started. Do benefits outweigh risks?

September 2009 | Leading Agile Transformation

http://agiletransformation.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html

Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Sometimes we read or hear about some new direction in the way people do business and tell ourselves: "Only if we could implement this in our company! Then we rush implementing this new way of doing business at 100 mph and find ourselves in worse spot than we started. So how one makes the change, if he/she feels strong that this change is a must? Beware: Economic Growth | Succeeding with Offshore Engineering
