What's New with You? Friday, February 19, 2010. We found out the day before the surgery that he was the oldest kid scheduled for surgery that day and he was going to be last! How in the world are you supposed to keep a 4 year old from eating and drinking all day? We arrived at the hospital at 1:00pm tired and hungry. Luckily for us Jack didn't complain one bit about not being able to eat or drink anything. We kept him busy with the fish tank in the waiting room and our wonderful DVD player. The surgery w...

OH,OHOHMAHA.Here we are! Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Andy… Has never stopped moving from the day he learned how! Always has a smile on his face even if he is doing something he shouldn’t. He hates getting up for school but he is very social. Here are a few of my favorite “Andyism’s”. Me: Andy get up, it's time to get ready for school. Andy: no today is not a school day! Me: yes it is. Today is Monday. Another one that came on the way to school…. Andy: mom how many days until Christmas. Jake and Jenny Snow.

What's New with You? Thursday, September 9, 2010. Jack is officially a Kindergartner! Here are some pics to document the big day. On Monday night before school started Jack got to pick where we would have dinner and he picked Brick Oven. I had to laugh because we had only been there once or twice but I guess it stuck with him. We had a lot of fun and of course the food was delicious! Here is Jack getting his school hair cut. He used to be terrible when getting his hair cut but now handles it with ease.

What's New with You? Monday, November 1, 2010. The kiddos had opinions on this one. Finding a penguin costume turned out to be nearly impossible and Jack didn't want to be anything else. What is a mom to do? Yeah right I don't sew! Luckily I have a good friend who would help me and my mom saved me. With a lot of help and encouragement I actually made Jack a penguin costume. For my first project I think it turned out pretty cute. One of my favorite is Laney. She was a cute and cuddly peacock! On Saturday ...

Christmas with the Allens. Friday, January 2, 2009. Christmas with the Allen's. For Christmas this year we bought a family ski pass to Brian Head ski resort. The week of Christmas we rented a condo and spent time hanging out just our family. It was nice to be together. The girls are really taking to skiing and getting good at it. CLICK HERE FOR THOUSANDS OF FREE BLOGGER TEMPLATES. Monday, May 9, 2011. Mother of the Year" a novel. It was close again this year, but I'm afraid that I didn't get the "Mother of the Year" award. I felt certain that it was in the bag this time, but apparently you can't win if CPS (child protective services) is investigating you for child neglect. A heads up next time would be appreciated. I don't know how I kept my calm this whole time without yelling at her, but I knew it would only make things worse&#...

Nathan was diagnosed a while ago with PDD (which is on the autism spectrum) and ADHD, so is very hyper and busy and difficult to manage, but is about the sweetest little boy you'll ever meet. I think that we are being led down this path, and I'm very hopeful to see whats around the bend. Any prayers that are sent our way will be greatly appreciated and gladly reciprocated.
