Wednesday, August 31, 2011. First Day of School. The girls had their first day of Children's Day Out on Tuesday. We had meet the teacher last week, so Ainslee was able to get a taste of just how much fun she was going to have. She was very excited to start school! When I dropped her off at her room this morning she ran right in and started working at their tables. The teacher had to remind her to tell me goodbye, which I took as a sign she was going to have a great day! And that makes Mommy very happy!

Musings of a twenty-something basic white girl. Monday, April 20, 2015. I am feeling quite existential after launching the creative writing project that I am encouraging *ahem, or forcing* some of the people around me to participate in. (As my brother said, "You're giving US an assignment? In other news, I saw this video. Unlikely.as I would not be apt to want to use that technique, but could I figure out people based on other qualities? I would like to hope so. How do we tell people apart? You are my Su...

This past Sunday, April 7th, we had Hadlee's birthday party. We had such a great time. I wasn't stressed like I typically am for birthday parties, everything came together beautifully! We had a bounce house, a huge cupcake sign in the front of our yard, balloon animals and face painting, and a table of candy! Thursday, March 7, 2013. 2 Years of Grief.
