AJ and Brooke Pepper. Wednesday, May 29, 2013. What better way to celebrate AJ being done with his 2nd year of law school than to relax in beautiful Maui? Hanging out on the beach. Basking in the sun. Pina colada in hand. virgin of course. Without a care in the world. 9 days was definitely not long enough. After my studious husband had to study for finals for hours on end, Hawaii could not have been a more perfect way to celebrate being done! I am beyond envious of where they live. Their view is amazing.

Livin' the Dream
Tuesday, June 30, 2015. This was inside a teepee that was there. There was a pretty bald eagle there. Maddie found a cute little hut. I don't remember what this bird was, but it was pretty. A toucan that was very pretty. This was Thomas's favorite. I can't remember it's name, though. I thought this blue jay was beautiful. We also went to a bird show. It was way cool. They brought out all these different birds and talked about the way they adapted to their environment. Maddie got to help with a little hawk.

Wednesday, February 5, 2014. He made it about 30 minutes until he got ancy and was kicking the chair in front of him. I think if I came prepared with snacks he would have lasted the whole time! Christmas day we had our own little family Christmas at home then went to lunch at my grandma’s then spent the rest of the day and night having Christmas with AJ’s family.
