Tuesday, June 30, 2015. This was inside a teepee that was there. There was a pretty bald eagle there. Maddie found a cute little hut. I don't remember what this bird was, but it was pretty. A toucan that was very pretty. This was Thomas's favorite. I can't remember it's name, though. I thought this blue jay was beautiful. We also went to a bird show. It was way cool. They brought out all these different birds and talked about the way they adapted to their environment. Maddie got to help with a little hawk.

Friday, January 31, 2014. Allstar Monster Truck Tour. All star monster truck tour came to our area. I saw it advertised and it piqued my interest because the boys have been into monster trucks lately. I never really looked into it, though. Then AJ called me and said that through his work we could get tickets for $1.50 a ticket. We were officially in! They all thought it was super cool. Spencer got bored after the first little bit, but he loved the motocross. This is the story of my life in one picture.

Monday, June 29, 2015. Birthdays become less and less fun as you get older. Am I right? Well, even though that's the case, my people made sure I had a great day. It started off with family members emailing, texting and calling. Then my friend Stacie called to see if I wanted to have lunch. Of course I did! She brought her kids to my house for my kids to watch and we were off to Zupa's. I had never eaten there before, and it was yummy! I had a salad, a turkey cranberry sandwich, and we shared a cheesecake.

Saturday, April 7, 2012. As we drove to North Carolina we stopped at the Great Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee. I have always wanted to go there since we moved here. That is where Dolly Parton grew up. She is a country music singer that I have always liked. It was pretty. We walked a two mile hike up to a waterfall. North Carolina for spring break.
