Wir verlassen Portree und fahren in aller Ruhe Richtung Festland, wo wir einen weiteren kurzen. Zwischenstopp am Eilean Donan Castle einlegen. Anschließend durchfahren wir die beeindruckende Landschaft Kintails, und machen Station am Kevin’s Way sowie im. 1 Station: Wasserfall auf Skye. 3 Station: Clachan Duich.

Nachdem Frühstück machen wir uns in das nur dreißig Minuten entfernt gelegene Fort August auf, wo wir versuchen wollen, eine Bootsfahrt für den Loch Ness zu ergattern. Und wir haben Glück. Für die zweite Fahrt um elf Uhr sind noch genügend freie Plätze vorhanden. Das ist auch der Grund, warum es auf der Fahrt nach Fort William noch zu weiteren Zwischenstopps kommt.
