Dýchajú ešte minulým režimom, najmä svojou výzdobou na niektorých zastávkach, v štýle sovietskj hviezdy. Napriek tomu táto výzdoba skrášľuje interiéry metra. Jana o Rusku v Rusku. Štvrtok, 10. septembra 2009. Okrem toho sme postrehli, že Petrohradčania sú celkom poriadny čo sa týka odpadu. Nehádžu špaky ani nič na zem, všetko ide do koša. Na druhej strane nie sú príliš ekologickí, pretože delenie alebo recyklácia sa to veľmi neprektizuje. Príjemný rozhovor spojený s lúštením menu v čínskej reštaurácii je vždy príjemný.
