Tuesday, June 12, 2007. I Love to Swim. Almost every day we go swimming at my Aunt Elaines house. We go to the rec center too and swim, but I like going to my Aunts house because we don't have to get out of the water every 45 minutes. We play a game called categories. It's fun. It was really nice getting to see him and his family. I can't believe it had been 8 months since our last get together. So anyways we went to see my nephew Elijah play baseball. he is awesome. His team is playing in tournaments this coming week! Nolan (3) Joshua (4 in in Sept). The two boys were glued to the hip most of. Tomi won the most tickets.

As a teacher, every year I always read stories of the Pilgrims journey to America and I teach my students the Pilgrims story and how they struggled that first year and yet they stopped to give thanks for what they were blessed with. So today when our family gathers around a great big thanksgiving meal, despite the doom and gloom in our world today, I'll be thanking God for all the blessings He's given me. Austin, age 11.
