Thursday, 28 January 2010. Frederic Lebain is a french photographer, I know little to nothing about, think i saw his work on the imaginary foundation blog, his work flicks somewhat manically between surrealist collaged landscapes, to surreal still life and lomo style travel work. All of which are particularly brilliant, below is his series A SPRING IN NEW YORK. He found various locations, shot them, developed and printed then returned and reshot the piece, clever boy! Tuesday, 10 August 2010. Bit of a Joel Tettamanti. Monster today, but any regulars to The Propagandist will know i do loves a bit of snow so, and as such am a massive fan of Mr Tettamanti. Born in Cameroon, Tettamanti's images evoke feelings of cold quiet isolation, his shoots take him around the world to various locations enabeling him to present the viewer with destinations they would otherwise never see, from Greenland to Romainia to Japan.
