At a meeting at the Queens Hotel, Penzance in 2001 it was decided to try and open a NCI lookout in the derelict Gunnery Observation Tower at Chyandour. The tower is not in a romantic position, being just above the railway station, but has excellent visibility over most of Mounts Bay, particularly Penzance Harbour and the popular windsurfing and kitesurfing beaches towards Marazion.

Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Truth and Reconciliation Commission: A Chinese-Canadian Christian's Reflection. This is an important weekend in Ottawa. In fact, it is an important milestone for all Canadians. From May 29 to June 3, 2015, is the ceremonial Closing Event of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Several groups representing the United Church of Canada will be among those gathering in Ottawa to mark the occasion and take up the Commission’s call to action. It must involve us Chinese Canadians.
