There is a culture of greetings. most dogs will nicely greet each other and if possible will start a small pack. especially on the beach. It's really nice to see really big dogs and really little ones hanging out together. Occasionally there is aggression, but this is really frowned upon. Wednesday, July 21, 2010. There are blueberries everywhere for the picking and eating. I was out teaching tap tonight and took my favorite walk. It was so pretty. The flowers were as tall as me. The clouds were low in the sky and the colors amazing. I couldn't stop staring. Like a movie. a little spooky actually. The water was such an interesting color. sort of green gray. Well, it's been a long week of orienting and learning the health care system, but I am happy to say that it looks to be a great place to work. nice and supportive staff, nice patients and a nice pace of work. Thursday, July 8, 2010. Wow, it's 80! I forgot how that felt! Work has been great and all is well. Looking forward to having Brian get here! I am having fun relearning to do OB. Found a beautiful new place to hike. has beautiful paths and view of the glacier. Still working on getting the house sold and figuring everything out. Friday, January 7, 2011. Saw on a post by one of the teachers with ITC a reference to a program called Blabberize. I think it is something we can do to enhance our teaching unit for the primary kids. Well, our adventure is almost to an end.We have toured the Redwoods and have also had a great time in the Napa/Sonoma wine valley and San Francisco. We were able to see some great wineries and the beautiful vineyards. I got a chance to experience the breadth of these giant trees. We spent an afternoon touring the Benziger winery. Took a tram through the vineyards.
