http://paolashorseblog.blogspot.com/p/artwork_8446.html
Equines I Have Ridden. When I'm not riding, I often love to draw and paint horses. These are my original works, so do not use them on your own website although is is fine to share on Facebook and other social media as long as you keep the watermark on the picture and link it back to this page. The works are in the order that I made them. Arabian, complete 8-29-13. Whirlaway, completed 6-10-13. Citation, completed 6-5-13. Sir Barton, 1919 Triple Crown winner, completed 5-25-13. The Aspiring Equestrian: Pony Progress

Equines I Have Ridden. Saturday, May 30, 2015. Gradually, I let him out on bigger circles. He was just as good under saddle as he had been when I lunged. Like the last time I had ridden Lucky, I tried being extra soft when riding Pistachio. Pistachio was very sensitive to my aids. Mostly, I just looked where I wanted him to go, and he went there. June 1, 2015 at 10:54 AM. Very cool that youve been able to apply your lessons with Laura to Pistachio! June 1, 2015 at 1:42 PM. Yeah, its awesome! Favorite Boo...

The Prettiest in Purple | thebestmare
https://thebestmare.wordpress.com/2015/06/10/the-prettiest-in-purple
I'm not a bragger, but I really do own the best mare in the entire world. Stay tuned for ramblings about our somewhat irresponsible and rocky start all the way up to her blossoming into the solid citizen I knew she could be. About the best mare. Other horses who’ve made me. Pearl’s sexy bod. Full circle →. The Prettiest in Purple. June 10, 2015. I mean, when you can’t really ride your horse with any specific training goal in mind, you gotta at least mug for the camera, right? Strong because, well, she is...

SprinklerBandits: Jumping a Sane Horse (who's maybe even broke)
http://iamthesprinklerbandit.blogspot.com/2015/07/jumping-sane-horse-whos-maybe-even-broke.html
Tack and Equipment Reviews. Thursday, July 30, 2015. Jumping a Sane Horse (who's maybe even broke). I talked last week about how I was basically trying to bore Courage to death with lots of tiny jumps. Well, good news: it's working. Courage is always super fun to photograph because he believes ALL jumps are 3'6" and clears them accordingly. Thus, I could set teeny courses and still get spectacular shots because of how green he was. I think that's over with. For once. Ha! And i'm releasing. that helps.

Keeping it Low Key: October 2014
http://keepingitlowkey.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 27, 2014. My life has been a whirlwind lately. I'm so sorry for my inconsistency and for not keeping up with everything but on the other hand I've really been blessed lately so I can't feel too. I wanted to take a couple of posts to go through the things I love and not so much love where Loki and I are right now. And of course starting with the good! The thing I'm most excited about when looking at the pictures from our XC school is my leg. It has seriously come a long way. Okay, I'm sorr...

A Enter Spooking: An Interesting Development
http://aenterspooking.blogspot.com/2015/08/an-interesting-development.html
Saturday, August 15, 2015. It's too cold and wintery to ride, I will sit indoors drinking. Hot chai and you can ride my piece of shit animal. But after being out of training for so long, the thought of being in training with someone feels claustrophobic. Like I can't do what I want and when, that I'm restricted and controlled. I like riding with other clinicians, I like deciding to take a week or two off of lessons, I like being the only one making decisions about my horse. And explored other options.

SprinklerBandits: 6 West Coast Facts for East Coast Riders
http://iamthesprinklerbandit.blogspot.com/2015/07/6-west-coast-facts-for-east-coast-riders.html
Tack and Equipment Reviews. Friday, July 31, 2015. 6 West Coast Facts for East Coast Riders. For your convenience, I include a map. I was reading this article on Eventing Nation. Yesterday, and one quote in particular struck me as so funny that I sent it to local friends to share the laugh. Here's the quote about a rising young pro:. That's right, folks- 1 hour and 42 minutes counts as some sort of bold career move to a remote and far off place. Since when did that count as "far away"? Like, way. I l...
