Raising our kids and living life in the shadow of the Rockies. We woke up this morning to 4 inches of snow. We thought we were in the clear and then Molly got sick again. Then by Saturday we were all better! My birthday wasn’t everything I dreamed it would be this year lol. Kirstin’s gift to me was throwing up on me 🙂 she and I got the stomach flu on my birthday. Oh and Andy was out of town in sunny Southern California. Alas, it was not to be and the other 2 followed suit the next night. We saw Britt an...

Raising our kids and living life in the shadow of the Rockies. I still haven’t uploaded the pictures from my other camera, so these phone pics will have to suffice for now. Leaving cookies with milk out for Santa and 8 carrots for the reindeer. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve day. We made cookies for Santa, I worked in the kitchen on our annual Christmas Eve soup, and prepped food for Christmas Day. The kids played outside (nice warm day! Merry Christmas to you and yours. A perfect winter day ;). Enter ...

Raising our kids and living life in the shadow of the Rockies. Yesterday was truly a winter day. It was bitterly cold and foggy. We stayed inside most of the day and Molly even created a really tall tower. She wanted me to take her picture with it. A perfect winter day ;). My idea of a perfect winter day is 50 degree temps, a Starbucks flat white coffee, and all the kids (plus our preschool friend, William) enjoying the outdoors and soaking in some vitamin d :). Pizza and a movie night. An Inch of Gray.

Raising our kids and living life in the shadow of the Rockies. We were out of town for our church’s vacation bible school, so Addison went to a friend’s VBS this week at a different church. She had a blast! It was all week long in the mornings from 9-12. Their last day was today and she can’t wait til next summer to do it again. Addison is enrolled in a ballet class this summer at a local dance school. Today was her first day. She had so much fun! She’s also really silly 😉. Twirling on a Mountain. Raisi...

Beautifully Woven: April 2013
http://beingbeautifullywoven.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Join us as we share about the many ways our lives are beautifully woven through the journey of adoption, trials of sickness and health, and listening to the gentle whispers from our Heavenly Father. Friday, April 26, 2013. I know that last night's post was a bit Debbie Downer and vague. It is just the reality of life - isn't it? I have to admit though. The times where I have grown the most are always the unexpected jaunts. Now, at 33, as I'm training for a 1/2 marathon. I'm writing this while I eat a qui...
