As we walked in to the All Purpose Room, she saw her good friend Olivia and took off. I barely got a goodbye hug! At the end of the day, Alex was in HEAVEN. She loved her first day and couldn't wait to go back. She has a lot of friends in her class and loves her teacher. For the first time in a year. Leah wanted to go to BCS instead of daycare. It's going to be a great year!

Tuesday, June 14, 2011. For the first time in over 6 years, I had the house to myself for 2 days. TWO DAYS! It was like an eternity! Andrew took the girls to NJ for the weekend and I stayed home. This might not sound like a big deal but in my world this was HUGE! I have to be honest.in some ways, it was even better than a vacation. I was relaxed. I sent the fam off at 8am and rushed to get to the gym to meet a friend for a yoga class. YOGA! What better way to start the weekend off relaxed! Sunday morning...

Sunday, July 17, 2011. On Monday, Alex began her adventures in real day camp. In the past, she has gone to camp at her preschool (lame! And then to a camp last year that was mostly indoors but had a field trip once a week (not quite as lame but not real camp either). This year, we have found a camp that reminds me of my youthful days as a camper. Putting names in bathing suits, towels, extra pairs of underpants. Alex (and me! A week in and Alex is SOLD! She yelled. Okay okay, I guess it's a success.

Tuesday, January 26, 2010. We had Alex's parent conference this morning. She's doing great, loves school and loves her friends and teachers. The teachers had really nice things to say about her such as; she's bright, sweet, very verbal (no kidding! Wednesday, March 11, 2015. Hanging out with our pier pelicans on a beautiful January day. New 'do for the girls! Both Leah and Zoe donated a collective 18 inches to Locks of Love. So proud of our little girl! Farewell lunch for Thea! We will miss her so much, but are excited about her next adventure outside of California. We got to visit Daddy at work and watch him perform several of his arrangements with the 1st Marine Division Band brass quintet! Dinosaur exhibit with Gigi. This dino-fan was in heaven!
