Sunday, February 16, 2014. Californian Visit and a Greek Wedding! This month, L and Z got the opportunity to fly to California for a wedding and spent time with family along the way. First stop off the airplane - In-N-Out Burger, of course! We enjoyed the first part of the week with Papa and Gigi in San Clemente. Each morning started off with Z joining Gigi on the floor for exercises and stretches. Only ones on the Ferris wheel! Since we were in the area, we also dropped by the lovely Fashion Island mall.

Visiting Daddy at the Little Creek Naval base during his lunch break. Stroller-blading" along the boardwalk. Real Big Fish (or is it 'reel? Z loved seeing Star Wars characters at Galacticon, a free event at the library. Looks like she's already a Star Wars nerd like her parents. :). Hanging out with Monstro the whale. Trying out Mommy's boots. It was an amazing production!

Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Time to say good-bye to our beloved Virginia Beach! After a short 8-months on the East Coast, the Marine Corps is transferring us back to Camp Pendleton, CA! Feeling a little bit like a yo-yo, but Virginia has been amazing and will be greatly missed! Catch ya later, King Neptune! Z water-coloring with Melinda's boys. Thanks to the Rose family for your generous hospitality! Ethan and Owen said it was too bright. And we're off on our cross-country road trip back to the West Coast!

Friday, January 2, 2015. New Year's Eve started off on an exciting note after a lovely dusting of snow in our local mountains! This was right here in Camp Pendleton! I know, "big deal" to you folks across the country, but really, this is a rare site here). As A headed off to Pasadena with the Marines in preparation for the Rose Parade, the girls headed up that same way as well and enjoyed a fun dinner with YiaYia and Thea. We LOVE eating at Woodranch in Pasadena. Ready for A to march by! What a great day!
