We sailed west from Husavik last night towards our final excursion stop at Grundarfjordur, northwest of Reykjavik. The day includes a visit to waterfalls, lava castles, steam vents, bubbling mud pots and an excellent lunch of Icelandic trout. Then it’s back to town for a stop at the whaling museum, now focussed more on the “watching” end of things. Most importantly, SOME of us get to add another country to our list. Nothing serious, but just enough to have the ship rolling from side to side a bit. No real consequences, but I noticed that we both ate a little lighter at breakfast just to be on the safe side.
