Tuesday, October 25, 2016. For fellow sweet tooth friends who just so happen to have a jar of almond butter handy. Because apparently it's a thing nowadays ;). 1 cup of almond butter. 1/3 cup of maple syrup. 1/2 cup of unsweetened desiccated coconut. 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Preheat oven to 180 Celsius. Mix all ingredients together in a big bowl. *. Scoop small spoonfuls of the sticky mixture onto a baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes.

Like most years it passed much too quickly- yet there were many moments where life events, world events and political events seemed to circle time into a giant deja vu. Heartbreaking, frustrating, unbelievable moments where we all couldn't help but feel. And in the same vein, to acknowledge our happiness. No matter how little or hidden it may be.

A little bird made me. Where to find the little bird. This morning my car and camper trailer are being inspected so that I can transfer their registration to the State we moved to earlier this year. This means I am sitting in a very cold waiting room in a mechanics yard for an hour. After the chaos of getting all three children out the door this morning I am enjoying the peace (although not the cold so much! My thoughts are a bit jumbled and if course I need to work out why!
