I lost 2.8lbs this week and am more excited than a kid on Christmas morning! It's motivating me to keep with this eating clean lifestyle for a while. Delicious Recipe and motivating loss. Juice of the morning. 1 inch of ginger root. Small bunch of mint leaves. I was doing so great with my juicing/eating healthy kick right before I went to Ohio for a weekend, but after I came back, the holiday's were in full effect and my will power went right out the window. Now, I'm feeling like crap and am a little sick. Here are some options for meal plans that I've come up with:. Maybe 1 piece of whole wheat toast with 1 tbsp almond butter. Yogurt or Cheese slice with Apple. Salad with Tuna or Chicken.

I am not a huge carrot fan. In fact, the only way I've liked them up until now is juiced and hidden by other fruits and veggies. This week I discovered 2 ways I like carrots, shredded and roasted. I made another Oh She Glows. Awesome oatmeal recipe. Her Carrot Cake oatmeal recipe is delicious and a great way to get in a few carrots in to start your day. Grown Up Girl Scout. I love when I find new healthy/semi-healthy recipes that I can get my husband to eat, so I thought I'd share my two new favorites. The first one is Chipotle Chicken and Rice. From Martha Stewart's daily e-newsletter. Just a warning, it can be a little spicy if you aren't used to heat. I added in fat free sour cream to cut the heat. Had a great post about approved sugars for the Eat Clean Diet sugar strike. She made this little chart to give a quick explanation of what is allowed and what isn't. So thanks Athletarian! Read her post to get the entire scoop. Cutting sugars out is the biggest reason I've been succeeding in my diet. I've invested in making sure that my pantry is stocked with these things. I haven't tried rapadura or yacon yet, but all of the others I use. My favorites are FRUIT, Honey, Maple Syrup and Sucanat.

Tuesday, July 12, 2011. I saw this cute idea on Pinterest and I wanted to try to make it for my friends that are having babies. Tonight was my first attempt at it and it didn't turn out horrible. There are things I would do differently of course. First thing, I would have used white thread instead of tan (I was too lazy to re-thread the machine). I suggest having a few extra drill bits on hand, so when you break yours, you aren't pissed you have to make a trip to the hardware store. Grown Up Girl Scout. My Weight Loss Blog. Monday, July 4, 2011. Hiking South Cumberland - Savage Gulf. We left Murfeesboro around 10:30am on Saturday July 2nd. This was probably too late to start a 4 mile hike on July 4th weekend. The temp was in the 90's and I had the sweat to prove it. We started the hike at the Savage Gulf ranger station. There were the most beautiful purple flowers, so I had to take some photos before we got too nasty. Jeremy, Heather (Frasier) and Chris. Note to self: Our Daily Red.
