There are no set session times at Sweethope Loughs! Since we have taken over Sweethope in 2013, we have had numerous fishermen and women comment on the impractical session times – we have taken this on board and thrown out those restricting times. Sweethope Fishery Report 12th July 2015. Water temperature remains warm, measured at 18 degrees C on Sunday morning but wet colder weather is cooling both loughs. Best of the fishing has been the south bank and far west end of the Small Lough has provided some good catches, including the heaviest fish of the week, a 6lb 2oz rainbow, caught by Terry Richmond. Number of fish brought to the net: 152 rainbow, 10 blue and 4 brown trout. Number of visiting anglers: 77. Number of fish returned safely: 129.

Engine & Battery. There is a 2 concession off fishing tickets. We offer special discounts for club bookings, where you will also find catering prices. 2 hour tickets can be purchased on demand at the half price of 4 hours. Please note that we currently do not take credit card payments – only cash. The prices are not applicable to VAT or any other surcharges. Sweethope fishery weekly report 31st October 2016. Water in both lakes continues to cool as the Autumn progresses and the majority of fish are to be found at deeper levels. Occasionally conditions have allowed some sport on the surface as fish are seen in the top of the water and can be tempted with the dry fly.
