Bobby and I have really been blessed to have had such wonderful animals pass through our lives. Our little slice of life. Thursday, January 12, 2012. I am not sure about you.BUT DECEMBER FLEW BY! I picked up C's calendar to jot down some milestones and realized the entire month of December was blank. Seriously, COMPLETELY BLANK and I didn't even realize it. Yikes. I'm thinking THAT will be one of my 2012 goals.to do less in december and enjoy the many holidays that it brings! So, In a brief picture recap.here are some Christmas pictures. Our little slice of life. Saturday, January 31, 2009. My dad is amazing! The older I get.the more I appreciate him! My dad has always wanted us to succeed and out of personal sacrifice was willing to do whatever it took to have that done! And because of all of this, I am truly grateful. Our little slice of life. Tuesday, January 31, 2012. This is the two weeks of the year in which my family celebrates MANY, MANY birthdays! Last friday was my uncle's birthday. Sunday, the 29th was Aunt Katie's.we LOVE seeing and hanging out with aunt katie, even though they live so far away from us in the big city. We've been trying and trying to persuade them to move to the south where the sweet tea flows and the accents are THICK =). For some flashback pictures, click here. Today is my dad's birthday!

Down on the Farm. Monday, May 2, 2011. This week we have experienced nature's mighty forces. Fires in Texas, flooding along the Mississippi and tornadoes all across the southeast. We are constantly reminded of our inability to control anything. As I watched the news, I never saw people worried about their 52 inch flat screen TV, their newest I-phone, or the latest WII gizmo.I did, however, see people in need of food, water, clothing, and shelter. And in the midst, thanking GOD for their survival.
