He's an award winning illustrator whose inspiration stems from growing up reading comics (if you ask me it seems more like divine intervention). His work Blows my mind to say the least. Friday, July 30, 2010. It's been far too long since my last post, I appologize! Not that anyone looks at this blog except me and my sympathetic friends). So, the whole travel blog concept was initially worth doing but OF COURSE I hardly even touched my blog during the whole 6 weeks in Italy. Travel blog= failure, but I refuse to let artsy fartsy die for good. So seeing that i'm home and internet is free, i've been able to do some artist investigation! Here are a couple of my favorites (so far).

Thursday, June 3, 2010. Ray Caesar, AMAZING artist and (according to my mom) a D.O.M. I really love Caesar's artwork, I think the concept is GENIOUS. I always love the convoluted result of twisting innocence and vulgarity into the same piece. it's so morally confusing! Here are some of my favorite pieces by Caesar. PLEASE take a look at his website too, www.raycaesar.com. He's got all sorts of amazing work and the music that plays automatically on the website TOTALLY sets the mood for his work.
