A Day in the Life of a Trauma Nurse. Where your day isn't complete until there's a code at shift change. Wednesday, November 12, 2008. Last week I hosted a wedding shower for my friends Joy and Dave. I'm going to their wedding in a week and a half, but we thought it would be nice to celebrate with people who couldn't make it to Wisconsin for the wedding. The funny thing is that of the 8 people who showed up, only 1 of them isn't going to be at the wedding. Oh, well! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

My own hot shower and washing machine were welcome sights! Sorry, no pictures yet - I'm waiting to get the disk from the rest of the team. So it's back to work tomorrow and I'll post more as soon as I get the visuals! Friday, April 25, 2008. Back from the Juncle. Weeks in the jungle we made it safely back to civilization!

It was fun to spend time with Benjamin, too. Now whenever I see him he comes right too me, all smiles! We'll be spending Thanksgiving with Jessica and Justin, and Justin's parents who will be in town. Should be fun! These are some of my favorites of the black and whites I took of the kids. Definitely frame worthy! La Casa de Agua.

I looked at my last post and realized it's been over a month since I put anything up! And now the reason I need all the overtime: I'm going to Peru in April! I've had a missions trip on my list of things to do for a long time now, and a friend from church steered me in the direction of this great trip! So until then, it's preparing for the trip and lots of working. I ha...

A Day in the Life of a Trauma Nurse. Where your day isn't complete until there's a code at shift change. Wednesday, June 25, 2008. Today Jessica and I took Benjamin to the zoo! He loves the animals and I'd forgotten what a great zoo we have here in Denver. It was kinda hot so we only stayed for a couple hours - long enough to get our fix of the wild kingdom before Benjamin got too tired! Jessica is quite pregnant (37 1/2 weeks! And helped put Benjamin to bed. I'm loving the stage that he's in right n...

And what have I been doing with all my time, you ask? Well, it's been a nice balance of work and play, and here are a few pictures to prove the play part. A Day in the Life of a Trauma Nurse. Where your day isn't complete until there's a code at shift change. Wednesday, October 01, 2008. Here you go, Mom. I got a hint from Mom yesterday that I need to update the Blog. So this one's for you, Mom! I got my hair chopped off a couple months ago, but haven't had any recent pictures to post. Until now! It's so easy to take care of and I think it's kinda cute. Although the ability to pull it back into a ponytail does have it's drawbacks! Aurora, CO, United States.
