Sunday, April 12, 2009. Katherine's big debut in the dance world was last weekend - at her preschool's open house. Through the preschool she attends dance class each week and learns some basic tap and ballet. The group had practiced their two pieces for weeks - the song was annoyingly catchy.something like, "when I wear my magic tutu." I had it stuck in my head all last weekend. Anyway, Katherine got all dressed up, walked out with the group, and then started crying (before the music started).

A day in the life of two brothers. Friday, June 14, 2013. Thomas had his first swim meet yesterday. He was pretty nervous! He was chosen to be one of the four boys in the 7-8 division on his team who were swimming "for points" in the 25M freestyle. He was competing against boys who were 8 years old and he's only been 7 for not quite two months.so I think he did great! He had a great time, and he told me when we were leaving that he already knows he wants to do swim team next year and the year after that!

Case in point, this scrumptious recipe from Baker by Nature. 1 pound bow tie pasta, cooked al dente. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 medium-sized yellow onion, diced. 1 large roasted red pepper, sliced into thin strips. 1 pound kale, ribs discarded and chopped. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper. 2 cups of your favorite marinara sauce.
