It started off with breakfast for daddy and opening cards. Then it was time for presents. We got him a new Jeep suitcase for our trip this summer and the girls put their latest paintings inside as a surprise. Saturday, June 15, 2013. Man, I love this little bushy haired kid. Gotta love the lazy days of summer :).

I also found about 10 photos of Ryder outside on the porch swing reading the latest issue of Highlights magazine. It comes every month along and they love the Hidden Pictures and the stories each month. Ryder was obviously enthralled with this month's issue. He's really good at finding those hidden pictures. Man, I love this little bushy haired kid. Gotta love the lazy days of summer :).

Yup, this is what I usually see when the girls are working on their homework. He'll say, " Mom, can I see your phone, PWEASE! And then he'll sign the word please as he's begging. How can I say no? We just got back from California and we had such a blast on our trip. First of all it was amazing to get out of the blazing heat even if it was just for 5 days. I think we timed it perfectly because we were getting updates from back home that it was 113 degrees. That made the 78 degree weather in Malibu seem pretty awesome. There's that sweet little squishy boo again!

The kids are all at such a great age and it was so awesome to walk the neighborhood without using a stroller. We all dressed up as superheros and it was a hit in the neighborhood. I have to say that Halloween is my new favorite holidays! Ryan the sassy little Batgirl! She just took out her Mexico braids for a nice wavy 'do. Tuesday, October 30, 2012.

Reese and Ryan love P.E. at school so it was no wonder that they looked forward to Field Day for almost 2 weeks. The Kindergarten classes went first thing in the morning before it got too hot and they had such a blast. I vividly remember doing Field Day at my school and it was always one of the most fun days of the year. The apples don't fall far from the tree. Love her so much. 5,6,7,8 months.
