Tuesday was a 12.5 hour day of waiting, driving, waiting, driving, pick-up, waiting and driving :). Then I brought DeAnna to the apartment. Wednesday was about 7 hours of the same - then Dasha was home! I know we (all of us! Will have lots of adjusting and learning to do in the coming months, so please pray for us. On a positive note…. It doesn’t have to be the 4th Thursday of November to be thankful for our blessings! Today, I thank God for…. A husband who always tells me I’m “hot”. Parents who live close by. Friends who truly care. A car that runs. Hand-me-down clothes (not just for my kids! A husband who always says that the meals I make are the best he’s ever had (yes, every night – haha! Medicine and physical therapy. Winter rain (and even a little snow). Movies that make me cry. The excitement of NASCAR.

On a positive note…. She is almost three years old. My bloggy friend, Adeye, is on a mission to find a family for Yulia. Right now, Yulia “lives” in a crib, pretty much 24 hours a day, in a poor orphanage in the Ukraine. She is medicated daily to keep her quiet and still. She has health issues that have gone untreated. She is malnourished. She is one of our Father’s precious children. Doesn’t the Bible say something about “the least? I just know He will see it through! So, get over there and chip in.
