Getting Worse: headaches
http://headaches.livejournal.com/37376.html
Hi, sorry for posting so frequently. This tension headache is really getting worse. I didn't have any other symptoms earlier, but about an hour ago my vision started to get really warped, and when I tried to stand up everything went black. I think I almost passed out. Haven't gotten a chance to see a doctor since my university clinic closed at four. Any suggestions? The wierd thing is, it was gone all day. All of a sudden its back and worse. Could this be from high blood pressure? Post a new comment.

meds question 2 :): headaches
http://headaches.livejournal.com/37859.html
Meds question 2 :). Since I didn't get any response to my last post (not unexpected, cluster headaches and CPH. Are pretty rare) maybe I should broaden the net :). What all meds have you been prescribed for headaches, both preventative meds, and stuff you've taken during the headaches, and how have they worked? And how do you go about getting your doctor to give you enough meds so that you are functional? Post a new comment. Anonymous comments are disabled in this journal. We will log you in after post.

Cluster headaches (CPH): headaches
http://headaches.livejournal.com/36977.html
Cluster headaches ( CPH. I was diagnosed w/ CPH. About 6 years ago. Ever since, it's been a fight to get my doctors to be aggressive enough with pain control that I can get through my day to day life. I'm often so crippled by pain that I can't work. I can't do anything but pace and bang my head against a wall until it blessedly goes away. So, for anyone here who has Cluster headaches or CPH. What all medications have you taken for them, and what has helped or not helped? Post a new comment.

To dreeeeeam the impossible dreeeam (of having a painfree head). Hi everyone, I just joined this community. I've been having migraines since I was about 20, but they've only become a consistent part of my life in the past two years (one or more a week). They got significantly worse this summer, due to the stress crazy roommates stealing/burning/drinking things, but I'm in a nice place now and doing better. Post a new comment. Also possibly in terms of a tendency in contemporary culture to frame modern women as "bad" in terms of reproductive health (ie, the implication is that if women breastfed longer, or at all, they'd not be cluttering up hospitals with their broken hips in old age) - I read that somewhere but have forgotten the source, alas.
