Sunday, July 5, 2015. Finished Pagosa Springs Scarf. I finished my scarf and I'm so happy with how it turned out I wanted to share today instead of waiting for Finished Friday. I purchased the pattern from Dayna Scoles on Etsy, and I love her stitch "Rivulet". The yarn I chose to use has a bit of shimmer to it and a nice drape - this is a lovely lightweight piece that I know I'll get a lot of wear out of. I have already started on a second one, and will soon post pictures of it. Thanks for stopping by.

I actually finished my second Pagosa Springs scarf (a Dayna Scoles pattern from Etsy) awhile ago - but getting the pictures onto my computer and water marked proves to take longer than the actual loom knitting. Sheesh. I blocked the scarf using an ironing board with a damp towel and an iron and the lacework really opened up and made the scarf large enough for an adult! Will I make this pattern again? Thursday, November 28, 2013. Here is the finished cowl I made my friend, and some different ways to wear it. Of course, it fits differently on a BODY than on a flat hanger . but this gives you the idea. Even though I slipped the first peg on every row - which gives the selvedges a nice edge - I decided to do a single crochet all the way around the cowl. I like the way it firms up and really finished off the edges. The photo below is the perfect example at how it will look much better on a real person.
