We live in a complex called Aoyuan, its like a closed off community, Aoyuan is quite a posh one, we have pillars, fountains and statues, this is the view from my balcony, in the distance you can see our grocers. I'll post some photos of Chinese type stuff soon. My room is small but has a balcony which is nice. DPRK for a day.

I spent a few days in Harbin over New Years which is is the north of China close to Russia. I met up with my flat mate Ben and his brother Charlie who was in China for a couple of weeks. At its lowest, the temperature went down to -38°C (-36°F for you oldies) while we were there which is unbelievably cold. Sunday, 24 January 2010.
