MikeLaura.Kate.Kara.Avery.Drew. Sunday, July 5, 2009. Today marked two months since our sweet little Avery's passing. We went up to the cemetery today as a family and put flowers on her headstone which was finally set about a week ago. It was overwhelming and completely surreal seeing our little girl's name on that piece of stone. The question that I get a lot is, "has it gotten any easier? Friday, March 6, 2015. I grew up with 4 brothers so I know what a big deal Pine Wood Derby's are. Well, Lane had his first derby in January. Let me tell ya, it is more than just a big deal! HOURS of work went into this little hunk of wood. For crying out loud, the rule book was like 10 pages long! My vote was to paint the rectangle block, slap some wheels on it and call it good! Wednesday, January 14, 2015. LAST part to the craziest week of my life! We got home exhausted from Lanes big shindig only to put the kids to bed and start packing for DISNEYLAND! Our Christmas gift from Grammy and Papa was 3 fun filled days at the happiest place on earth! I put on my favorite Pandora radio station for the holidays, Kenney G, and got to work! Monday, September 28, 2009. A New Kind of Kaid. Yesterday at church, we got there a little behind schedule. The only available "soft" seat was in the front row. (It was the perfect teaching opportunity, because we have been at a loss for what to do with Kaid during sacrament meeting! The whole sacrament meeting went so well! Sunday, December 20, 2009. Christmas Tree and a Special Visitor. One of my favorite Christmas traditions unique to our family is going up north to the mountains and cutting down a Christmas tree. HEAVY ON THE BOYS. Let them be little". Sunday, November 21, 2010. San Diego Fall Break Trip. The boys loved sleeping in the HUGE king-sized bed. We also had a picnic at the park, played tennis, swam and watched movies in the room. The next day we headed off to Sea World to meet our cousins and have an exciting day. The shark cave was a bit hit and we saw it twice. I love these silly little men. Henry at the condo reminded us of this bird at the park:. Hanging with the sea lions. Standing by the Shamu car.

Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Sea World and the beach. Audrey, Annelise and Duane went on the rapids ride and and were completely soaked. This was right after so they were a little chilly. We found a beach with some great climbing trees. And a park facing the ocean. We have a strange black dot on our camera and don't know why! We are going there on Memorial Day weekend! Dont know if we will hit Sea World or not.but Katrinas dad lives there.she has a cool list of wonderful things to do there FREE!

Sunday, January 11, 2009. San Diego Zoo, Snow, and More! We recently went to Redlands, CA to visit Duane's sister and her family. We had a blast going to the San Diego ZOO (with a discount, yeah! If you look really close you can see the panda. It's the same panda that played on "Kung Fu Panda". That whats I told the kids anyway:). The highlight for me was watching the gorillas.
