Wonderlust: Well Hello, It's Been Awhile.
http://wonderlustblog.blogspot.com/2012/02/well-hello-its-been-awhile.html
Well Hello, It's Been Awhile. Having always lived near most of my family I also realized how important those relationships are on a deeper level. I cannot easily meet up my sister for a little shopping, go for a walk with my mom, or grab lunch with a close friend. The inability to do those things feels a little like heartache. Another major life change is the union of our two households, not only will I am living with him but also his nine year old daughter and their pup, Layla. Jona and I still plan to ...

Wonderlust: Day Trip --> Santa Cruz
http://wonderlustblog.blogspot.com/2012/05/day-trip-santa-cruz.html
Day Trip - Santa Cruz. A couple weekends back we sought out warmer temps in Santa Cruz. We made our first stop at Henry Cowell Redwoods. Park for a short hike (one of the few parks in the area with dog friendly trails). Afterwards we drove west for some relaxation in the sand at Twin Lakes State Beach. From my research I learned it tends to be warmer than some of the other beaches in the area due to the close vicinity of a lagoon. We wrapped up our visit at Johnny's Harborside. Wonderlust: Hello + Happy Friday!
http://wonderlustblog.blogspot.com/2012/07/hello-happy-friday.html
It's a bit overcast in San Francisco today and I am craving some sunshine and warm temps. This scarf would be perfect for a pop of color on a dreary day. For nonstop cheerfulness at home, maybe a pink counter top would do the trick? We plan on checking out the Silent Film Festival. Tomorrow and we might escape the city for four a few hours of warmth on Sunday. Hope you have an amazing weekend! See more inspiring images at my Pinterest page. Clockwise from top left 1. Wonderlust: Starting the Weekend Off Right
http://wonderlustblog.blogspot.com/2012/06/starting-weekend-off-right.html
Starting the Weekend Off Right. Has turned into summer purging and I spent last night going though my dresses and skirts in order to streamline my closet. What I decided not to keep I sorted for donating and re-selling. It's amazing how long you can hold on to a piece of clothing because you have good memories attached to it. I suggest. Enlisting someone close that isn't scared of being honest to help you with your wardrobe cleansing. Photo from Santa Cruz. Become part of my journey. Style - Head Scarf.

Wonderlust: Instagram: A Visual Journey
http://wonderlustblog.blogspot.com/2012/06/instagram-visual-journey.html
Instagram: A Visual Journey. I have blogged in the past. About my love for Instagram and after reading a post by fellow San Franciscoan, Anne Sage. I started thinking about what makes the platform so successful. The appeal for me is the simple creation of a visual diary logging my journey through the everyday. Here are a few recent snapshots from my "diary". Heading off to score some treasure at the Alameda Point Antiques Faire. Delicious lunch at the faire - we will. Be going to the restaurant. All phot...

Wonderlust: Cleaning House
http://wonderlustblog.blogspot.com/2012/06/cleaning-house.html
With the little lady gone for the summer. I have turned my attention towards purging and cleaning our home. Apparently it's not officially summer for 19 more days so I can still call this spring cleaning. As we have settled into the space I have learned what does and doesn't work in regards to the furniture we brought from Atlanta. I want to make room for our custom shelves. And some new pieces that will suit the space better. It's funny how you become attached to things. Become part of my journey. Start...

http://wonderlustblog.blogspot.com/2012/06/midweek-thought.html
I have been staying super busy playing tourist with my mom in town. And while walking from the Financial District to Chinatown yesterday I came across this incredibly random building addition. It goes to show that you never know what you are going to discover when you allow yourself to really absorb all of the sights and sounds around you. PS I would love to know more about it so if you do please let me know! A friend sent me this article. Become part of my journey. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Wonderlust: Drumroll, please...
http://wonderlustblog.blogspot.com/2012/06/drumroll-please.html
Our shelves are finally finished! The project began back in Atlanta when I spotted some old mill spools in an antique store, Vintage Village. Our apartment has one large L-shaped room that we have divided into dining, office, and living areas. The shelves connect the office and dining area, grounding the space. A collection of old shelter magazines that includes Domino,. Metropolitan Home, and Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles. By Orla Kiely is chock-full of inspiration. We started off by making a template from...

Wonderlust: Mad Over Molly M
http://wonderlustblog.blogspot.com/2012/07/mad-over-molly-m.html
Mad Over Molly M. On my way back from hiking in the North Bay last weekend I stopped to pop in Trouve. A little boutique featuring vintage home decor, new jewelry, and art. Jewelry by local San Francisco designer, Molly McGrath. Immediately caught my attention. Her geometric and organic laser cut forms are right up my alley. At top of my wish list are her superwax necklaces. Check out molly m designs. To learn more about Molly and her collection. Become part of my journey. Decades Antiques and Vintage.
