Monday, March 30, 2009. Here is one of the sunset pictures that I distorted with an ocean ripple. This picture I took this winter of the birds at the feeder. I used the artistic with the plastic wrap. I really like the different looks these filters can give the pictures. After playing with the burn and dodge tool I lightened the sky and gave a more deeper color to the trees. This is the original picture that I took this fall at a playground. Saturday, February 21, 2009. Week Four - Lighting. I really liked the idea of taking "the same" pictures at different times of day to experience different lighting, so this morning I went outside and picked 4 different subjects. Two more times today I went outside and took the pictures again from (as close to) the same angles as I could. It was very interesting to see the results! The sun was bright and direct in this shot, as well as behind the camera. It was great! Not quite, though. Week Four - Colors.

Sunday, March 29, 2009. I used the filter Stained Glass for this photo. I used the filter colored pencil for this photo. Dodge and Burn Week 9. The first photo is the original. I used Burn to darken the deers color and make the grass darker. Then I used the dodge to lighten the white areas and add highlight to the deers spots. Sunday, March 22, 2009.
