Monday, March 30, 2009. Here is one of the sunset pictures that I distorted with an ocean ripple. This picture I took this winter of the birds at the feeder. I used the artistic with the plastic wrap. I really like the different looks these filters can give the pictures. After playing with the burn and dodge tool I lightened the sky and gave a more deeper color to the trees. This is the original picture that I took this fall at a playground. When we talk about the aesthetics view of a photo or piece of art we are talking about the person's feelings on that piece. Each person has their own differences on a piece of art. Compostion is the way you organize or set up your photo. To many people composition is the most important part of the photo and again each person has their own views on the subject. My troubles with taking portraits of him, and I assume all young children is getting them to stay still long enough to take a picture. I finally gave up and just let him run around, and I got this shot. Taking portraits is becomes very rewarding when you achieve a good photo, but I imagine very frustrating when you can't.
